Stone Walls and Red Valerian

Red valerian is a pretty red perennial flower often found in stone walls around Quarry. It is still in flower or just finishing now.

However, it is very destructive and will lift mortar and cause cracking in walls. We would recommend that it be removed to maintain our walls.
