Friends of Quarry organises several community events a year and in addition to this there are lots of activities that take place in the community each week. Below is a list of regular activities, if you know of any others then do let us know and we’ll add them to the list.
The Masons Arms host a number of events through the year. Details are on their website or you can pop in and ask them.
Quarry Village Hall host a number of regular events, including the weekly Friends of Quarry Coffee morning. Details are on their website.
A Thursday Lunch Club aims to provide a two course home cooked lunch for older people who live alone in the Headington area. It takes place on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month in Corpus Christi Church Hall, Margaret Road. Before lunch, from about 12.30 guests are served drinks and nibbles, lunch is served at 1pm and after lunch there is tea or coffee and chocolates. More details are on the HTHQ website.
