1 Quarry High Street: Judicial Review Application Granted

The owners of 1 Quarry High Street have been granted permission for a Judicial Review of the Planning Inspectorate decision to uphold Oxford City Council’s Planning Enforcement Notice relating to Quarry Mews.

A Judicial Review can only concern itself with whether the Planning Inspectorate process was correctly followed and not with the grounds for upholding the Enforcement Notice. We do not know the grounds on which the Judicial Review will be based.

The Judicial Review process is likely to take a long time.

If the Judicial Review is successful, it is likely that a different Planning Inspector is appointed and the Planning Enforcement Appeal process will be run again.

We will keep you updated as we find out more.
