Headington Quarry School – 150th Anniversary
Headington Quarry School was opened in September 1864 making 2014 our 150th anniversary. We feel that this should be celebrated as the school has always been a very important part of the Quarry community. We want local people to come and help us put together a display of photographs, memories and help co-ordinate an open- day. This could be either lending old school photo’s, visiting the Records Office to research and gather more documents or coming along to share some memories of spending school days here over the years.
Please help us to celebrate this very special year. There will be a preliminary meeting on Tuesday 25th February in the school Community Room at 6.30p.m for anyone who is interested to meet up and make plans!
