There will be a meeting to discuss Quarry’s special features on Thursday 16th May at 7.30pm in the Village Hall, Quarry Road. We will be joined at the meeting by Robert Lloyd-Sweet, Conservation Officer for Oxford City Council, who will talk about the special features, how they’re currently protected and what it means to live in a conservation area. This will be followed by an opportunity to discuss whether what else can be done to protect the area and whether residents would accept further restrictions on making changes to their properties. The meeting will be followed by a wine reception which we do hope you’ll be able to stay for.

Holy Trinity Church plans

You may be aware that the governing body of Holy Trinity is considering changes to the interior and exterior of the church. Their ideas are described in the  Public statement and Sketch of ideas.

We would be grateful if you would complete the questionnaire  and return it to friendsofquarry@googlemail.com Copies of the questionnaire have also been emailed or delivered to all members.

Please send responses by 18th November.
