We hope that the weather will hold up and that you are able to join us.

There has been a huge local reaction to the construction of the block of apartments on the Beecher Acoustics site at 1 Quarry High Street, with disbelief that this has been allowed in the Conservation Area. The building being constructed appears significantly different from what was approved back in 2006.
Friends of Quarry logged an enforcement enquiry with Oxford City Planning on 30 Sept detailing the apparent differences together with a number of questions relating to the approval process.
We are waiting for a response from Enforcement and will continue to try and discover how this development was allowed and whether its impact on the area can be mitigated.
