32 Quarry High Street – Application for Demolition and Replacement (Updated)

Further Update: The planning application has been refused by Oxford City Council. A comprehensive report outlining the reasons why is available on the planning portal at the link below. We will continue to monitor the situation, as the developer may submit altered designs or appeal this decision

Update: We understand that the application has been called in for consideration by Councillors. No date has been set for that meeting – we will keep you updated on progress.

A planning application has been submitted for the demolition of the existing 2-storey house at 32 Quarry High Street and replacement of it with  2 x 2-bed and 2 x 3-bed apartments. The application can be viewed and commented on on the Oxford City Council planning portal. The consultation closes on 2 February 2023.

We have a several concerns about this application, including the demolition of an existing Quarry house and the lack of provision for car parking.

We will be commenting on this application on behalf of residents, but we would also urge you to review it and comment on it for yourselves.
